Ummm....

I have absolutely no clue what to call tonight's blog post!!!

Pretty good day today.  I was so wiped out from the trip, that I set my alarm for 7:00 am but then lay there until 7:45.  That started the day out in a rush, but by 10:30 am we were caught up and perfectly on schedule.  I feel like a got a lot accomplished today in my free time, so that was a boost.  Oh - get this.  Me and the kids were dressed and ready for church tonight, hair and all, AND supper was on the table by 5:30 pm.  That never happens around here on a Wednesday.  It felt good not to be running late!  It's such a rare occurrence... I really tried to savor the moment.  LOL

Breakfast was an oatmeal pack, 2 turkey sausage links, and an orange.

Today's packed lunch seemed to be a hit with everyone. I had one can of tuna with 2 TBSP RF mayo, some mustard, and a hard boiled egg with 5 RF saltine crackers.  On the side, I had a string cheese, some grapes, and 5 baby dill pickles.  Yes... see the DDP in the background.  I'm trying to come out of hiding.

Before-supper snack was a banana and 17 grams chunky peanut butter.

Vegetable beef soup (made with turkey) cooked all day in the crockpot.  I topped it with 28 grams 2% shredded Colby Jack cheese and a dollop of 0% Greek yogurt.  I had a Pepperidge Farm cheese bread slice... and then another half of one.  Argh, bread is so stinkin' good!

Snack after church was a bag of 94% FF popcorn and a pack of Fun Size M&Ms, which happened to end up being TWO packs.  That was just a mindless decision and one I regret in points.

I am also counting 3 points+ for a few random bites I took today.  Trying to stay accountable for them.  They existed, therefore they count!

In a nutshell:  My day could've been better at the end.  I feel like breakfast and lunch were fine.  I normally just have saltines with my soup, but I didn't want to have crackers two meals in a row.  If all my kids would eat the bread, there wouldn't be any leftovers.  But one of the kids doesn't like the bread so that leaves extra, and me and hubby always split it.  At least it was just a 4-point slice and not a 5-point slice like the other brand.  The second bag of M&Ms just happened when it shouldn't have.  Glad today was the reset of my weekly points and I had the means to cover my 9 extras.  I lost a daily point today, too, when I weighed.  I will do official WI here on Saturday.  Got in all 80 oz of water and all my f/v servings.  Yay for those things!  About to go to bed and start again tomorrow.
