Yay for Saturday! :) I had a nice one. It was nothing special, and actually I was kinda stressed all day, got my feelings hurt this morning, started, and got disappointed. But it ended good with food and since I have weight issues I consider THAT a good day! Haha
Okay, on to seriousness.... I took a picture of breakfast after I ate a few bites, but then I forgot my camera at home and missed my other food today. So instead of posting all my food pics, I will just kinda tell you about it and then show you the one pic that's made today a good day.
For breakfast I had a Jimmy Dean D'Lights breakfast sandwich. They're pretty good. I had a $3 off coupon for them. I wouldn't pay full price, just because, but I would def buy them again if I caught them on a good sale. I ate a banana with it and drank FF hot cocoa.

I didn't eat again until lunch, which was technically our big meal for the day. We went to The Perfect Pig. I will save you the details. I went in deciding I was going to enjoy the food today and not worry myself sick over numbers. I ended up eating some of my food and giving other parts of it away. But then I took a bite of this and that from the kids. I tried to estimate high to be on the safe side. This estimate does not include any kind of dessert, just country cooking.

About 6 hours later, we were STILL out and about running errands and grocery shopping! We didn't want to spend money eating out again. Everyone grabbed a candy bar. The kids were thrilled. They just about NEVER get their own candy bar. They always have to split 2 bars between the 4 of them. LOL. I guess we are mean??? I just think that if *I*, an adult, eat an entire candy bar, a kid surely just needs half of one. I love these babies, and I don't want them dealing with the battle of the bulge later in life. I wish I loved me as much as I love them and look out for them! :-/ Anyway, at the register my eyes fell on a Heath bar. All Walmart had were King Size ones. I haven't had a Heath bar in years... but suddenly, I needed one. Reckon that had to do with TOM? But thankfully I didn't allow myself to buy the King Size bar. Instead, I wanted until I got to Kroger. There was not a single Heath bar of any kind at Kroger! I started to just pick something else, but I knew that I wouldn't mentally accept a substitute and would still keep eating until I had a Heath bar. Lol, sad but true! So the husband took me to Dollar General. Sold out of every Heath bar in the store. Good grief! Went to the last option - the gas station by the house. Whoopee - Heath Bar jackpot! Got me one.

I really enjoyed that Heath bar. I'm glad it was good after all the trouble it caused me. Hehe
So I came home and decided to try out my new knee braces and pick which one I wanted. I bought two kinds and figured I would take one back once I was able to try them on at home and see which one was better for my knee issue.
Neither one fit. :( They both said one size fits all. They were both fully un-velcro-able. But then the stupid thing wouldn't stretch around my big thigh!!! It would re-velcro but just barely. I knew it would never hold. And it was squishing my fat. Ugh. That was very disheartening! I told my husband, "Great! I'm too fat for help! I'll just keep dislocating my knee until they have to amputate my leg. I was looking forward to having a brace so I would feel brave enough to start doing my walking videos again! At this point, I can't even walk normally around my own house without my knee slipping, let alone walk for exercise!" I was majorly bummed out.
So then I decided to cook. Go figure. Lol
Saw this on Gina's site this week: Spaghetti boats!!! Since I recently discovered I like spaghetti squash, I knew I had to try it. So at nearly 10:30 pm tonight, I had 1/2 a spaghetti squash with 1/2 cup Ragu, 3 oz Tyson grilled and ready chicken, 28 grams Italian cheese, and a piece of garlic cheese toast.

In a nutshell: I ate 58 points+ today, so I dipped well into my weekly points allowance. That's okay. I went ahead and weighed in this morning and will keep my weigh-ins on Saturday, but I decided to just keep my week going through Tuesday night since I started on Wednesday. I think it's 14 weekly points I have left now. I really enjoyed the food I had today, and I will be carefully tracking the rest of the week to make sure I stay within my points range until things reset on Wednesday. I got in only 60 oz of water today but plenty of other liquids, too. I never do as good on water on Saturdays. It's just such a busy day for our family. I'll report back tomorrow night!
It was smart of you to know yourself well enough to know that only a Heath Bar would do once you got that in your head. I'm proud of you for not settling for anything else, and for not buying the king sized one.

Hi..I am new to your blog. I have done that before and the funny thing is sometimes when you go over and under your points everyday you end up losing more weight because your body doesn't get used to the same amount of points. My husband and I just started WW again yesterday and I am trying to get some motivation. Feel free to stop by my blog if you would like.:)
